Advice is also given to non-residents conducting business in the UK.
Tax planning for individuals includes Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax, and the interaction of all three. Typical areas are the sale of the family company, the creation and operation of trusts, issues relating to residence, the making of gifts and matters affected by the reserved benefit rules.
Personal and business tax matters come together in relation to employee remuneration, including share option and pension schemes, employee share ownership plans, profit sharing schemes and National Insurance contributions.
