We are pleased to report that the Queen has appointed Charles Purle QC as a specialist Chancery Circuit judge.  He has been assigned to the Midlands Circuit, based in the Birmingham Civil Justice Centre, with effect from Thursday, 21 June 2007.  The Committee thanks Charles for his Chairmanship of the Association over the last three years and sends him warm good wishes for his future career on the bench.
