BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

Individually
Membership of the Chancery Bar Association is open to specialist chancery practitioners, and the Association's activities are tailored to their needs and interests. These activities include regular educational seminars and events (including the annual two-day Chancery Bar Association Conference and the Annual Lecture), a Newsletter for members, a comprehensive Directory of chancery contacts and this website, which includes a library of past lecture and seminar papers, many available only to members.

Many members, particularly those in chambers with non-chancery practitioners, value membership of the Association because it identifies them to solicitors and clients as chancery practitioners.

Collectively
A strong, vibrant membership strengthens the influence that the Chancery Bar Association exercises in making representations to relevant bodies, including the Bar Council, the Bar Standards Board, court users committees, the Law Commission and government.
