Seminars
There is usually at least one seminar each month during term time.
Usually seminars are on a topical area of law, with a panel of three leading practitioners or academics providing talks on the area in question. The chairman of the panel is usually a High Court Judge. There is an opportunity for questions at the end.
The notes for each talk (if ones exist) are available on-line to members after the seminar.
Each seminar usually starts at 5.30pm and finishes at 7pm, and is accredited for 1.5 hours CPD. The seminar is followed by a drinks reception for those attending.
As a result of the Covid-19 lockdown the seminar programme for 2020 has been changed, and held remotely on Zoom, the seminars have been videoed and members can view them here.
