Chancery Update Seminar - Leeds

The seminar will be held at the Leeds Club, 3 Albion Place, Leeds and will follow a similar format to the event held in November 2010. Registration will commence at 5.30pm, with the talks beginning at 6pm and finishing at around 7pm, to be followed by drinks and canapes for those who can stay on a bit longer, until 8.30pm.

The seminar will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor of the County Palatine of Lancaster, the Hon. Mr. Justice Briggs.

There will be three speakers:

  1. His Honour Judge Behrens, a specialist chancery and mercantile judge on the North Eastern Circuit;
  2. John Randall QC, a barrister at Chancery House Chambers, Leeds and deputy High Court judge;
  3. Professor Richard Nolan, Professor of Law at York University.

Each ChBA member who wishes to attend may also invite up to five solicitors as guests.  As on the previous occasion, the seminar is aimed at the promotion of the chancery bar on the North Eastern Circuit and also the promotion of chancery work to solicitors on Circuit.

The seminar is free of charge to ChBA members and their guests.
